Panama City Mission Wrap-up

As our Mission Trip here in the Panhandle of Florida comes to an end, what a rewarding experience for all of us. The work was strenuous but the team worked together to get done what we could. Although the work here is far from complete, we worked to make a difference ‘one branch at a time’.

After a delicious meal made by a member of the congregation here at Trinity, we had our devotions and shared our thoughts of this mission and missions to come.

Thanks again to all who supported this mission with your gifts and your prayers.
To God be the Glory!

Judy

Panama City Mission Trip Day 3

We had a very rewarding day as we worked clearing fallen trees and brush from a road at Good Shepard Church. When we arrived at the church,  we said we didn’t see a road, but by the time we were done for the day, the road was visible. We also tore down a fence that was in bad shape.

Tonight the ladies of Trinity fixed us a great dinner before we joined the church members for their weekly Lenten service. After our nightly team meeting and devotions we all headed to bed with the feeling that we are doing God’s work.

Panama City Mission Trip Day 2

We had a very rewarding day as we worked clearing fallen trees. The base of one of the trees was approximately four feet around so we had some heavy lifting. The other teams here at Trinity have been great to work with. We are all here with a servants heart doing what we can to help make it a little better, one branch at a time.

Again thanks to all who have supported this mission to Panama City with your prayers and support.Thank you for sending us to help them. May they experience God’s love during this difficult fight .

Panama City Mission Trip

The Mission team has arrived safely in Panama City. The devastation is unbelievable. We will be heading out in the
morning to what was referred to as ‘a bear of a day’.  We have come with a servants heart and are prepared for whatever
God has planned for us. Yours in Christ, Woodlands Mission Team

Hurricane Michael Relief Day1

Thanks to all who have supported this mission to Panama City with your prayers and support.
As we drove through Bay county, down Highway 231 into Panama City , members of our team were struck by the devastation that still remains from the storm. One woman we met recounted the night the Hurricane caused trees to crash through her roof. Pastor Paul of the local Lutheran Church reminded us that everyone we will meet is fighting. Fighting insurance companies who won’t pay, fighting to get a reasonable timeframe in which their homes will be fixed, fighting with FEMA to get grants/support, just fighting to keep going.
Thank you for sending us to help them. May they experience God’s love during this difficult fight .
