We will have live music by our talented Charlie Crownover, craft tables, a bounce house, free caramel corn and cider, face painting, carnival games, scholastic book fair for the Early Learning Center, and the youth selling hot dog lunches. Bring your children, your family, your neighbors and friends, and invite someone from the community!

Operation Christmas Child

Save the Date: October 28th at 6:30 PM at Woodlands Lutheran Church. Discover How God used an Operation Christmas Child shoe box to change a life forever! Growing up in unstable Rwanda, Alex Nsengimana experienced firsthand the travesties of his nation’s genocide. The genocide claimed the lives of his caregivers. Fleeing for his life, Alex escaped gunmen and eventually ended up in an orphanage that was his home for the next several years. He received a shoebox from Operation Christmas child one year after arriving at the orphanage and remembers being excited to have a gift to call his own. He realized that God had a specific plan for his life as Alex now serves with OCC paying forward the hope and love he received through a shoebox gift. Please join us for a special time of Alex telling his story of redemption and forgiveness.
