Jim Essig, M. Ed
Principal/4th Grade

Jim loves people, young and old alike. He views the school as an extremely effective way of sharing the Gospel of Jesus with children, parents, and grandparents on a daily basis. His 33 years in the teaching ministry (23 as a principal) have  equipped him to joyfully guide Woodlands Lutheran School through the expansion years.  Jim is a member of the Florida-Georgia District Board of Directors and the Florida-Georgia District School Ministry Advisory Council.

Charles Crownover
Minister of Music

Charles leads a number of music groups, including our "In God We Trust" Worship Band, Youth Praise Band, Men's Quartet and Brass Quartet. His vision for music ministry is to encourage people to express their Christian life, gratitude and worship through music. He is a member of CCLI, BMI, and SGA.

Charles also teaches music to all grades in our school, and has Orff Schulwerk Certification.
