Every member of Woodlands Lutheran Church has an Elder. They are here to serve the needs of the families assigned to them and are on call whenever the need arises. The list below has the name, phone number and letter of the last name of the families they serve.

 

 

The physical birth of a child can be time of great anticipation. A spiritual birth can have those same feelings. When you are ready to see your child become a member of the Body of Christ here at Woodlands, please feel free to contact us. Baptisms are typically performed during regular weekly worship services, and can be scheduled through the church office. We are so looking forward to sharing this wonderful event with you. The most difficult time to plan a funeral service is upon the death of a loved one. There is so much for the family to think about regarding the service (music, musicians, Scriptures, location, meals, memorial designations, the committal, etc.) during a very emotional time when countless other tasks present themselves. Planning your own service and having it on file in the church office makes it so much easier for the family. This, of course, is a very sensitive area that many do not want to think about or discuss. However, our Board of Elders encourage you to do so. A form has been prepared to use as a guideline for this purpose. Please contact the office at 407.469.2525 or email office@woodlandschurch.com to request a form. Upon completion, return to the church office.

 

When a loved one enters into eternity to be with their Maker, we realize that though they are in the arms of Jesus, we who are left behind grieve our loss and celebrate their memory. This is one of the most vital roles of the church, and one that is taken very seriously at Woodlands. We look to the resurrection and pray that during this time we can be of utmost service to you and your family’s needs.
