The physical birth of a child can be time of great anticipation. A spiritual birth can have those same feelings. When you are ready to see your child become a member of the Body of Christ here at Woodlands, please feel free to contact us. Baptisms are typically performed during regular weekly worship services, and can be scheduled through the church office. We are so looking forward to sharing this wonderful event with you. To speak with one of our pastors regarding Baptism, call the church office at 407.469.2525 to make an appointment or email your questions to office@woodlandschurch.com.

Funeral Arrangements

The most difficult time to plan a funeral service is upon the death of a loved one. There is so much for the family to think about regarding the service (music, musicians, Scriptures, location, meals, memorial designations, the committal, etc.) during a very emotional time when countless other tasks present themselves. Planning your own service and having it on file in the church office makes it so much easier for the family. This, of course, is a very sensitive area that many do not want to think about or discuss. However, Pastor Kneser and the Board of Elders encourage you to do so. A form has been prepared to use as a guideline for this purpose. Please contact the office at 407.469.2525 or email office@woodlandschurch.com to request a form. Upon completion, give to Pastor Kneser to file.

When a loved one enters into eternity to be with their Maker, we realize that though they are in the arms of Jesus, we who are left behind grieve our loss and celebrate their memory. This is one of the most vital roles of the church, and one that is taken very seriously at Woodlands. We look to the resurrection and pray that during this time we can be of utmost service to you and your family’s needs. To plan a memorial or funeral service, please call the church office at 407.469.2525 or email office@woodlandschurch.com to make an appointment with a pastor who will assist you during this trying time.

Lutheran Counseling Services (LCS)

LCS provides quality professional care for individuals, families and communities through confidential therapy, outpatient mental health care and consultation and training/education. Trained to listen, understand and help rather than to judge, LCS counselors help people to learn effective ways to face problems. We are happy to have MaryJo Hoard onsite at Woodlands Lutheran Church. The care is fully accountable to the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration and Florida State licensure laws. LCS operates without regard to race, creed, sex, religion or national origin. Call 407.644.4692 to schedule an appointment with MaryJo at the Winter Park Office, here at Woodlands or check the following website for further details: lcsfl.com.
