If you have the heart and desire to sing or play your instrument for God, Woodlands has many opportunities for you to plug into one of our groups or choirs. Let the song in your heart, and the sound of your voice or instrument rise to heaven in worship of our Lord and Savior.

In God We Trust is our primary worship band. Our motto is, “Ministering through music!” We thank God for the awesome opportunity He gives us to sing His Word and the story of salvation, and to lead others to do the same. Our singers and musicians are highly motivated to use their abilities to serve God and Woodlands. Some have been with the band since it began in 2000. The Holy Spirit has guided others to us along the way, and each has brought blessing to the group. If you think this might be a good way for you to serve the Lord, please email Charles Crownover with your interest and he will set up a time to talk with you. Ages 16-Adult. We perform many styles of music, including rock, gospel, pop, country, ballads and hymns, all with a no-compromise Christian message. All songs are appropriate for worship. IGWT rehearses once each week to prepare for Sunday service, and to learn new songs. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:15 PM in our sanctuary. We lead the music and singing at the 8:30 AM worship on Sundays year-round.

This is our main chancel choir. We sing a variety of music, stressing the rich and diversified musical heritage of the Lutheran Church. If you are age 15 or above and attend Woodlands, we would love to have you sing with us! Come check out a rehearsal or two and join in the fun and fellowship. Our season runs from September through April. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:00 PM in the sanctuary. 

Adult Handbell Choir (Joy Bells) Joy Bells currently rehearse on Thursday mornings at 10:30 AM in the sanctuary. All are welcome!

Children’s Choir We would be delighted to have your child be a part of the Woodlands Children’s Choir (Pre-K through 2nd Grade) or our Junior Choir (3rd through 5th Grade). Directing the choirs are Charles Crownover and Dorothea Holcomb. Together they provide a peek into the world of music and choir for your child in a Christ-centered atmosphere. And the kids have loads of fun! Choir rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 5:00 PM until 5:40 PM from September through April. Please have your child at rehearsal at least five minutes prior to start time and pick your child up promptly at 5:40 PM. Our current schedule has the children singing in church as songs are ready. The children sing during the 8:30 AM service and at the beginning of the 11:00 AM service. If you have any questions, please contact the church office at 407.469.2525.
